If you want a warmer theme in your kitchen then red is the best selection. But be careful, it is almost hot color used only if there is not too much of wall space, because over red can effect to bad feelings of anxiousness as the red in large doses inclines to over-stimulate the senses. Therefore, it is better to also combine red paint with a toasty brown or cool white to help against the heat feelings of the red (for balance consideration) that eventually will be helpful to afford more comfort and excitement within your kitchen.
Other options are yellows and oranges! Both are also warm colors that will be great idea if you are looking for a less intense than red! Since kitchen is hotter area than other rooms of the home, warm colors are less popular than cool paint colors. But they will work well for traditional kitchen design, especially for Tuscan or country styles! But if you want a more modern or contemporary design; you can choose the brighter shades of warm color to get on with the sleek appeal of interior.
Neutral Paint Colors!
In a kitchen, these paint colors for kitchen design needn’t translate to boring or safe. Neutral means they can work to almost any kitchen design easily. You can choose a slate gray, an antique white or a sandy brown to get the versatility in color play with accessories & artwork.
Mixed Paint Colors!
As well we know, most of kitchen usually has more than one wall! And there are many people who choose to use the same color for all walls! But you can be more creative to choose different colors for each wall. One of creative ideas is by using a mix of contrasting colors to get a dynamic feel! To create an accent wall, you can choose a warm color (yellow or bright red) and then choose a creamy brown or smooth white for the remaining walls.
Other idea, you can choose to pair paint colors! I mean, paint the bottom of the walls first with a cocoa brown and then choose soft-white or cool blue paint for the remaining walls (top half of the walls). But this idea is not too recommended for larger kitchens, because the contrasting colors will make the eye to travel (affording visual interest)!
