One of great ideas to get a functional and ornamental ceiling covering is a fabric canopy. For elegant look of our ceiling we can use it to secure the ceiling. It is also so welcome to be placed above a bed in order to get a royal appearance. Other idea, in order to make a protective roof (especially for a large party or event, like a special outdoor wedding reception) we can drape it over a frame! Well, there a lot of canopy ideas and we can find them not too difficultly at these days by searching via internet. We can find many DIY online sites that can give you a lot of smart ideas.
For practical option you can also decide to go for a helpful canopy rental! You’ll get more variety selections with this option, such as canopies that are purposed for your truck, car, or your big parties! Most of them are usually designed with a special material that can reduce and block ultraviolet rays of the sunlight. Moreover, good rental canopies should be strong (supported by high quality steel) but offer a practical light weight (especially for any types for outdoor activities). Once again, like I mentioned before, there are available many canopy ideas to explore, the following are some of those ideas:
# Tent Canopy!
It refers to an outdoor party tent which has open-sides (not closed flaps). Since it is purposed for outdoor, its standard model is usually designed to give an adequate protection from any outdoor problems such as unfriendly wind, rain, and UV of the sunlight at noon! Below are helpful ideas for you:
1. Take a look at a green cloth canopy and for earthy style then drape it over a rectangular oak tent frame.
2. Find each tent pole and then you can hang a green curtain & a ribbon-tied over it. Make the result be more attractive by using vine swags to decorate the inside ceiling.
3. For more elegant look, you can use semi-sheer fabric (white color) and frame draped of twisted iron tent for a round look.
4. Along the upper sides of your tent can be designed with small swags. This can be realized by considering the edges of your tent roof. Make sure your canopy be fall over them.
5. And then do not forget to create a special large curtain on each other tent pole by adding a long swag of fabric.
# Ceiling Canopy
It is one of my recommendations to make a decorative and attractive indoor ceiling cover of your lovely home. Moreover, it is also helpful enough for fancy & attractive ceiling style in your living room! This concept is also not too bad idea for gourmet restaurant or for reception hall. OK, below are my ideas with it:
1. If you want to get a romantic ceiling style, you can explore the long strips of pink or cream silk. This idea is usually also popular enough for a wedding reception.
2. Then don’t miss to make sure to secure all silk strips to the middle of your ceiling! Therefore pull a cream strip into the middle and each corner of every wall.
3. A ball of silk roses is great idea to prettify the center space of the canopy.
4. Secure the middle of a medium-sized, white-rayon canopy, square to the middle of a living room ceiling, square, small!
5. To twist the middle, try to turn 90 degrees the canopy, and don’t miss to secure the fabric ends in every corner of your ceiling. Make sure it is tight enough so thus, it’ll only droops a few inches from your ceiling for a modern and clean style!
# Bed- Canopies
As well we know that they are usually associated to little girls, but they are multipurpose enough to work for any style and person. What we can do with them?
1. For a princess styles, four-poster bed with a white or pink ruffle-trimmed canopy is welcome idea.
2. For a simple style, you can choose a wood four-poster bed with a white linen canopy and a plain!
3. For creating the base of a contemporary wall, you can choose a silver satin-covered cube that sticks out 1 foot from your wall. Then locate the cube on the wall (around one or two feet below the ceiling) above your bed! Drape silver-thin satin curtains from each end of the box that eventually they will fall against the outer edges of your bed.
4. Then you can also try to hang and use a black canopy crown on your ceiling above your middle bed to get a bold model. Do not forget to look for the crown and secure long pieces of cream chiffon, jade chiffon, aqua chiffon, and black chiffon from it! Before securing the chiffon pieces on the upper wall (above the front of your bed), you should pull half them forward. The last, secure also the remaining chiffon pieces which usually located on the upper wall (above the bottom of your bed).
